The Meslay Republique is a very tastefully appointed hotel close to the Place de la Republique with its shops, restaurants and good metro connections to the rest of Paris. Then, the flowered quays secondhand booksellers will lead you to the Louvre and to the garden of Tileries... from there, the whole Paris will be offered to you.
