Several assumptions are made as for the analysis of these menhirs in Carnac. It is certainly thought that these menhirs have been placed on significant magnetic lines in the North-South axis while following the North-South terrestrial field magnetic like needles of acupuncture on the skin of the Earth. These axes, also called telluric lines, form with the East-West lines, a framed space called telluric fields of energy.

At the intersection of these two lines, telluric nodes are formed, and that is where are planted the menhirs.

Carnac, Located in South Britanny, is the major site of Megalithes (Menhirs) in the World, renowned for the quality of the specimen and its conservation.

Menhirs, in general, consist of a block of granite in the shape of a warhead or crystal, with a point in pyramidal form. It has a flat face, also called 'cut face' and a concave face, the cut face is always in the North-South axis.

The granite is a rock issued from volcanic activity (crystals present in the granite are formed in the interior of the Earth by combustion and chemical combinations) resulting from seismic activity and is highly magnetic.

The theory is that the menhir was planted on the telluric lines in order to become a conductor of underground energy. The menhir was used as a tool for the need of the Human race. The menhir is an interface to lead the telluric energy from the inside Earth towards the exterior: it is a well of energy.

Knowing that a beam of energy leaving the ground and crossing the menhir loses its power and undergoes the attraction of the ground, it forms a curve of energy, thus falling down on the following menhir, and so on, forming an energy tunnel.

This tunnel of energy was supposed to 'recharge' (like batteries) troops of soldiers and any individuals walking through the beam.

Today still, you will be able to meet  'Merlin of the modern times' with their pendulums or their branch of holly which will demonstrate to you the power of this energy transmitted by the menhirs.

Some also say that menhirs were used to deviate the flux of the telluric fields, in order to make the fields more fertile and provide better  agriculture results and control a peaceful population.

Finally, many people believe that these menhirs were the keys of a complex and meticulous lock which controlled the protection and the survival of Atlantis, by generating magnetic fields able to maintain the town of Atlantis in a state of weightlessness, above water. When warriors invaded Brittany and discovered the function of these menhirs (probably by pure coincidence or accident), they moved and destroyed several menhirs, which would have destroyed the magnetic flow and made Atlantis sink into the shades of the underwater depths.

So you next question is: why were the menhirs 'planted' in South Brittany?

A long time ago, before the first humans on Earth, Brittany was a gigantic mountain (higher than the Alps). Due to the severe erosion occuring over the years and after several icing periods, the mountain was transformed into nothing more than a small hill of 400 meters high (1200 feet) at the top. The Breton peninsula is basically flat.

However, this violent erosion brought to the surface of the earth, at this special area, a significant magnetic activity that was supposed to be inside the Earth. The site of Carnac was selected for this reason.

But let's get back to the menhir in detail now that you know more about the energy factor. The menhir thus has two faces, concave and flat. Just like a battery, the menhir adopts a system of polarity determined by a study of radiesthesic energy: It has been established that the flat face is charged with a positive energy and the concave face with a negative energy.

These menhirs are dated back between 18500 and 4600 years before Christ what seems plausible if we compared those dates to the human scale on Earth. Human bones were found in Tautavel (near of Perpignan, south of France) going back to 500,000 years before christ and others were found in Ceprano, south of Rome, Italy going back to 800,000 years before Christ.
